Ownership & Listing Transparency

The National Directory of Water Engineers is operated by Lucking Utility Services Ltd to help customers find experienced, appropriately qualified water engineering specialists. Lucking Utility Services is also a listed company.

Our Commitment to Fair Listings

Our aim is to promote specialist companies fairly against consistent, published entry criteria. Approval status and the supporting evidence are explained on each company profile. Ownership of the directory does not give Lucking Utility Services priority in the alphabetical listing order.

Companies set their own prices and compete independently. NDWE does not set or coordinate contractors’ prices. Any future paid placement or commercial relationship will be clearly identified.

Listing Order

Companies are shown alphabetically by default. Search filters narrow the list using published services and areas. There are no paid ranking boosts in this version. Listing order does not indicate quality or endorsement.

Evidence Before Endorsement

Lucking Utility Services is verified and approved by William Lucking, directory owner, who also owns the company. Approval was recorded on 26 October 2026 using supplied evidence and his confirmation that all entry requirements are met. This is not an independent third-party assessment. Other companies remain awaiting assessment. The same entry criteria apply to all companies.

Fees and Commercial Relationships

Application and listing fees have not been published. Any future paid placement, referral arrangement or sponsorship must be labelled clearly. Payment will not establish technical competence.

Ownership and Recognition

The directory is operated by Lucking Utility Services Ltd. For directory enquiries, contact hello@waterengineersdirectory.com. NDWE does not claim water-authority endorsement or affiliation with WaterSafe. Recognition by water companies is a future ambition.

Coverage

This is a UK directory with growing coverage. Profiles distinguish head offices and bases from published service areas and nationwide availability. Nationwide availability does not mean a company has a local office or can attend every project; confirm your location and requirements directly.
